Michael Montaruli

Michael helps clients pursue their financial goals and plan for their futures.  Michael is also a licensed Medicare agent, ensuring that clients understand the program and pairs them with supplement plans that meet their needs. 

Michael began his journey with HVCU in 1985 when his Dad opened up an account for him. He lives in Poughkeepsie with his wife, two children and their cockapoo Ruby, enjoying all kinds of sports and activities with them, including cheer, track & field, hockey, and soccer.  He is an avid Green Bay Packer fan, collectible card enthusiast, guitar player, and movie lover.  He also enjoys playing softball in HVCU’s employee league as a part of the fearsome Flamingos team!

“My favorite part of being a financial consultant is the privilege of getting to know people on a personal level and being able to help them through important milestones in their lives.  One such client I was able to work with came to me as a younger person needing help managing assets in a productive place while she was getting established in the workforce.  She went on to buy her own business and later on, purchase her first home.  The ability to be a part of that journey over the course of a decade and to see her hit so many big milestones was special and humbling.  I am honored to work with clients like this and to partner with them through the highs and lows that life will bring. “
